University of Arizona Applied Research Building

The new Applied Research Building (ARB) is a very specialized, one-of-a-kind research facility designed specifically for UA applied research programs. This 89,000-GSF, three-story building has a variety of programmed spaces, including high bay payload assembly areas, a large-scale thermal vacuum chamber, unique research / customized laboratories, clean rooms, faculty offices, collaboration spaces, and conference rooms.  Tracking to be LEED Certified. ENR Best 2023 Project Award (Higher Education/Research). 2024 Structural Engineers Association of Arizona Structural Engineering Excellence Outstanding Project Award Winner. 2024 DBIA (Design-Build Institute of America) Award of Merit in Education Facilities.
