Project Description

University of Arizona Arbor de la Vida Hall

Arbor de la Vida (Tree of Life) is one of two complexes that make up the 6th Street Residence Halls in UofA’s Highland District housing area. Originally designed as a multi-building Honor dorm, the facility will be converted to all-student housing as of 2019. The 6-story structures are connected by sky-bridges and provide on-campus housing for 724 students in a highly sustainable facility.

The structure was delivered via CMAR with CORE Construction. Designed to foster community, the dorm features office suites, a conferencing center, living-learning classrooms, multiple study and gathering areas, and extensive student amenities and courtyards in addition to the large student housing component.
