University of Arizona Dr. Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine

This new 34,000 GSF facility for the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine (CIM) will facilitate the fundamental goal of creating a physical environment that supports the evidence-based philosophy of integrative medicine. The center will comprise three buildings that will designate UA as the epicenter for integrative health in the future. The three-story main building is a steel frame structure consisting of a composite steel beam and girder system with steel moment frames and concrete shear walls for lateral loading. The structural system of the one-story conference classroom consists of a steel frame structure with masonry shear walls. Estimated construction completion date: 2023. The project is tracking to be LEED Silver Certified.
