Pima County Joint Courts Complex

MWG is the engineer of record for the Pima County Joint Courts Complex, a significant landmark in downtown Tucson. Rising 7-stories from a 4-foot-thick mat foundation, the building is occupied by Pima County as well as the City of Tucson. The steel structure supports state of the art technology, which brought the county judicial infrastructure system forward leaps and bounds. Upgrades included modern security, modern audio and visual technology and presentation equipment. The opening of the 290,000 square foot building meant all county Justice Court services would be under the same roof for the first time in 18 years.
